Our Donations

Aloha!

Alohilohi.co was founded with the vision of perpetuating Hawaiian culture, language, history, and moʻolelo. To go forward in uplifting, rising, and strengthening the lāhui, we believe that the consideration and understanding of our past will guide us along our journey. To remember our ancestors, their knowledge, teachings, and strength, because without them we would not be the lāhui we are now.

In implementing our vision, we will be supporting Native Hawaiian organizations by donating 50% of ALL profits every month. We will select each organization with careful consideration and announce our selection monthly. While we will do our due diligence in researching the background, history, mission, community involvement, and practices of each organization - we encourage you to contact us with any recommendations or suggestions.

Kēkēmapa - December 22'

This Kēkēmapa (December 2022), Alohilohi.co will continue itʻs donation to the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA). Since our first day of donation collection began half way through November, we felt like it was only fair to extend the donation period for the full month of December in providing an equal opportunity to all donation recipients.

Nowemapa - November 22'

This Nowemapa (November 2022), Alohilohi.co will be donating 50% of its profits to the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA). We believe in their mission to "...enhance the well-being of Hawaiʻi through community-based initiatives founded on Hawaiian culture, knowledge, and traditions." Their support and assistance to:

  • Nonprofits
  • Community Organizations
  • Organizations aligned with a mission to uplift lāhui
  • Native Hawaiian Organizations

Aligns with our mission, goals, objectives, and reason behind this passion project started by ʻOkalani.

Our donations will be going towards the Hawaiian Way Fund. "The Hawaiian Way Fund supports organizations such as the Ulu Aʻe Learning Center. Started by a kumu who felt the need to give back to her community in a meaningful way. Ulu A’e is one of the only Hawaiian culture-based intercession and after school programs in Kapolei. Grounded in the values and customs of our kupuna, Ulu A’e sets a solid cultural foundation for keiki through activities such as hula, ukulele lessons, hei ha’awina, Hawaiian language, and huaka’i."

In addition, CNHA offers many different community programs such as the CNHA Loan Fund, Hawaiian Trades Academy, Kealahou Initiative, and so much more! During our current unprecedented times and the challenges we continue to face, CNHA is also offering Mortgage, Rent & Utilities assistance programs. To learn more about CNHA, the Hawaiian Way Fund, and their community programs, please see their website:
